Cinnamon Rolls with Cream Cheese Frosting

Cinnamon Rolls with Cream Cheese Frosting

Ingredients:
Dough:
1/2 cup warm water (110 degrees F/45 degrees C)
1/2 cup warm milk
1 egg
1/3 cup butter, softened
1/3 cup white sugar
1 teaspoon salt
3 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 (.25 ounce) package active dry yeast

Filling:
1/2 cup softened butter
1 cup brown sugar
2 1/2 tablespoons cinnamon

Frosting:
1 package cream cheese
1/2 cup softened butter
1 1/2 cup powdered sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/8 teaspoon salt

Directions:
1.  Place water, milk, egg, 1/3 cup butter, sugar, salt, flour and yeast in the pan of the bread machine in the order recommended by the manufacturer. Select Dough/Knead; press Start.
2.  When cycle finishes, turn dough out onto a lightly floured surface. Roll out a large rectangle about 16x24" in size.
3.      Mix together brown sugar and cinnamon in a bowl. Spread butter onto the dough and sprinkle evenly with brown sugar/cinnamon mixture. Roll dough up starting with one long end. Cut evenly into 12 rolls and place on a lightly greased 10x13 pan spaced evenly apart, or in a 9x13 baking pan. Cover with a clean tea towel and let rise until double in size, about 30-45 minutes.
4.      Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Bake rolls until lightly golden, approx 15 minutes.
5.      Prepare frosting. Beat together cream cheese and butter until smooth. Slowly add powdered sugar, vanilla and salt. Beat on medium until light and fluffy. Spread on rolls after cooling slightly.
